MG Cyberster pricing and spec details revealed!

After what feels like months of teases and speculation, MG has finally revealed the pricing and specification details of the hotly anticipated MG Cyberster.

The stunning all-electric roadster starts at £54,995 for the Single Motor Trophy version, while the Dual Motor Cyberster GT edition will set you back £59,995. 

The first new MG sports car in a generation is available to order today at Chapelhouse MG, ready for its arrival in August 2024.

The two-seat roadster blends MG's history of producing iconic sports cars with its modern electric innovations. MG Advanced Design Director Carl Gotham describes the Cyberster as “a striking, all-electric roadster which promises to be as exciting as MG sports cars of the past.” 

The MG Cyberster certainly holds nothing back in terms of power and performance. The eye-catching GT model, with its Dual Motor output, can produce a maximum power of 375 kW - the equivalent of a whopping 496 HP. 

That means acceleration of 0-62 MPH in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it 3.2 seconds.

The raw power and eye-catching design are obviously the two main selling points of the Cyberster, but this is a sports car that also performs brilliantly as an electric vehicle. 

The Single Motor Trophy version can achieve 316 miles of range (Combined WLTP), something that will have many other EVs looking on with envy. The Dual Motor GT model has an impressive 276-mile range from a single charge too. 

Charging with a 150 kW Rapid Charger can also be done in as little as 38 minutes (10-80%).

The Cyberster is refined, both inside and out. The driver and passenger can travel in the premium comfort of Leather Style / Alcantara sports seats. And the seriously exciting scissor doors that kept many onlookers interested from the original Cyberster Concept remain too! 

The driver's cockpit is equipped with a wraparound trio of screens. The main 10.25-inch information display is flanked by two further 7-inch screens, that operates the infotainment system and relays driving data. 

A further touchscreen is located in the centre console, used to manage the climate control system.

Further standard tech and spec includes Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, 19-inch alloy wheels, fully electric hood, and exhilarating Launch Control system - as featured in the MG4 XPOWER! 

Making the jump to the higher GT trim includes the Dual Motor, Four-Wheel Drive, and upgrades the alloys to 20 inches. 

There are five body colour options to pick from: New English White, Camden Grey, Cosmic Silver, Dynamic Red, and Inca Yellow. You can also choose between a Black hood that comes as standard, or Red.
