I am a Key Worker and my car needs a service/repair, who should I contact?

Please contact us online and state in your email enquiry that you are a key worker and provide us with your next available days off plus as much information as possible. We will endeavour to fit you in a time and location closest to you.

We also have additional information for Blue Light Card holders.

What measures are in place for cleaning the cars effectively?

We already have an excellent in house valeting team, but all our staff will be wearing PPE and using additional cleaning protocols so you can be sure we are doing all we can to reduce any contamination.

I can’t get hold of my local dealer but my car needs a service, what should I do?

All our workshops are now open. We are running a reduced service to keep you on the road and we will do our best to advise you.

I have been involved in a Road Traffic Accident/had an Accident in my car, what shall I do?

Should this unfortunately happen we are here to support you. Our team will be there to help you and arrange for your car to be repaired back to its pre-accident condition as soon as possible. Please use our online enquiry form.

Will there be a problem in obtaining parts?

Our Bodyshop’s and service teams work very closely with our suppliers to ensure that parts delays are kept to a minimum and by working together we can hopefully fulfil most of the normal requirements for parts.

What do I do if my car requires a service but I'm not a key worker?

We are working on a first come first served booking system, so we will be seeing people as quickly as we can. We recommend you book early to avoid disappointment.

I have a car service plan but I'm overdue my service.

Service plans such as a Kia Care service plan or our Chapelhouse Service plans will remain valid and cover the cost of your services regardless of when they are undertaken.

What happens to the warranty if the service is not completed on time?

Your car should be maintained and serviced according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and recommendations to ensure your warranty remains intact. However, if there is a valid warranty claim on your car and the latest scheduled service has been delayed during the period where the UK is under Government measures, Kia, Suzuki, Fiat and MG will honour valid warranty claims. Please note all other warranty Terms and Exclusions apply.

If your local Chapelhouse Dealer is closed and your vehicle requires a service by either time or mileage, during these exceptional circumstances the warranty on your new car may be extended by the manufacturer. Please contact us for further information.

If you are operating your vehicle beyond a scheduled service we advise that you pay closer attention to key areas such as Oil Level, Coolant Level, Tyre Pressures and Tyre Condition.

We would always recommended taking a look at your owners manual for any queries you may have.
To make this easier, some are available online, search for yours here:

Suzuki: https://cars.suzuki.co.uk/owners/using-your-car/owners-handbooks/
Kia: https://www.kia.com/uk/owners/manual/
MG: https://mg.co.uk/owners/tips/owners-manuals/

How should I care for my car while I wait for a service?

It is important you maintain your car regardless of servicing requirements. We recommend that you regularly check the following items:
• Engine oil level
• Coolant level
• Windscreen washer fluid level
• Tyre condition and pressures, including spare if fitted
• Exterior lights
Please refer to your owner’s manual for more information. If your service is delayed it is even more important that you regularly carry out the checks detailed above until the scheduled service is carried out, paying particular attention to the oil level.

Should you require oil to top up your engine, please ensure you obtain the correct oil for your car.

Further guidance on how to care for you car during lockdown can be found on our website
