Suzuki Motability Car Offers
The Motability Scheme enables anyone receiving one of the following government-funded mobility allowances to lease a new Suzuki car simply by exchanging their mobility allowance to cover the cost of the Motability car.
Chapelhouse Suzuki Motability Explained
Our Suzuki motability scheme works by using the following allowances;
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (HRMC of DLA)
- Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC of PIP)
- War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
Also, to qualify you need to have at least 12 months of your award remaining.
Over the past 35 years the Motability scheme has helped more than three million people get mobile and there are currently around 600,000 customers enjoying the benefits of a Motability car, so rest assured you'll be in great company! With a car from Motability you can look forward to worry-free motoring, which means you can get on and enjoy life while we take care of the day to day running of the car. Whether it's a trip to the shops or a day out in the countryside, a Motability car can make your journey easier and more relaxed.
You can lease through Motability if you are the parent or guardian of a child aged three or over who receives the allowance. Also, if you receive the allowance but are unable to drive, you can nominate two other people to drive on your behalf.
Motability Benefits Include
- A brand new car every 3 years

- Full breakdown assistance
- Replacement tyres
- Window and windscreen repair or replacement

Motability Scheme FAQ's
The Motability Scheme enables people in receipt of a higher rate mobility allowance to lease a car.
The Scheme is designed to make the process as simple as possible for its customers, bundling insurance, breakdown cover and servicing costs all into one agreement.
This means you only pay for the car's fuel. Lease payments are made directly from the relevant benefits agency (DWP or Veterans UK). To make sure you always get the most from your allowance, prices are negotiated and updated every three months.
Parents or guardians can apply on behalf of a child under 16. You just need to have at least 12 months remaining on your award to apply.
- Anyone who is in receipt of one of the following higher rate mobility allowances can apply to join the Scheme.
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
When you place the order for a car through the Motability Scheme, it will take a couple of days to process the application and check a few details. The timescales for the car itself can vary depending on the manufacturer and model you have chosen.
The Motability Scheme covers your car/WAV for “social, domestic and pleasure purposes”. Basically, this means you can use the car for personal purposes and commuting to and from one workplace.
