Pre-Collision System

Pre-Collision System

Suzuki's Pre-Collision System (PCS) helps prevent collisions with other vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and any other road users.

It utilises a millimetre wave radar, coupled with a monocular camera, built into the front of the car to scan for possible hazards ahead.

For instance, the braking assist system will come into action if you get too close to a vehicle ahead, perhaps in a busy flow of traffic, and will encourage you to ease back.

If the PCS does detect an increasing threat of a serious collision, the autonomous braking system will kick in, and the car will attempt to avoid a serious impact.
