At Chapelhouse, we offer Motability vehicles on a number of models from top manufacturers including Citroen, Fiat, Suzuki, Hyundai and Kia which means that Chapelhouse are able to cater to your requirements, whatever they may be!
Who Can Use the Motability Scheme?
To be eligible to join the Motability Scheme, you need to receive one of the following mobility allowances and you must have at least 12 months’ award length remaining. Please note that the Attendance Allowance cannot be used to lease a car through the Scheme.
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
- Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
- War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and the Scheme.
The Motability Scheme works with PIP in the same way as it does with DLA. If you are newly awarded the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of PIP and have at least 12 months remaining on your award, you will be able to lease a car, scooter or powered wheelchair through the Motability Scheme.
Did you know?
You do not even have to be a driver to qualify. Around two-thirds of Motability customers drive, but non-drivers can qualify for a car as a passenger. Similarly, parents and carers can also apply on behalf of a child.
We do not provide any vehicles on a zero-rated VAT basis as a matter of company policy.
It’s easy with Motability - you choose the car, we do the rest!
