Chapelhouse shortlisted for three Motor Trader Industry Awards!
We are delighted to announce that Chapelhouse Motor Group has been shortlisted as finalists in three categories at the upcoming 2025 Motor Trader Industry Awards.
We have been nominated in the final spots for the 'Customer Care Award', 'Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Award', and the hugely prestigious 'Employer of the Year Award. Recognition from a highly respected name in the motor industry, such as Motor Trader, doesn't come lightly, so as a business, we are ecstatic to have been nominated in a range of categories.

Jayne Halton is the Group Head of Business Development at Chapelhouse and works to develop the working relationships we're proud to have here at Chapelhouse, both in-house and externally with a wide range of like-minded businesses.
“As someone who has the privilege of working alongside such as exceptional team, I am incredibly proud that Chapelhouse has been named as a finalist in three categories at this year's Motor Trader Awards, especially as they represent the two highest priorities that we hold as a business - our staff and our customers,” explained Jayne.
“As well as this incredible honour for Chapelhouse, I am also delighted to say that two of our own colleagues have been shortlisted for the inaugural Women in Motor Industry Awards. This is a fantastic personal achievement for Su Mawdsley and Jess Winstanley, and a reflection of the exceptional talent we are proud to have in the business - once seen as a male-dominated industry.
“Su is our Group Head of Compliance and Customer Experience and has been nominated for the 'Dealer Inspirational Leader of the Year' and the coveted 'Dealer Woman of the Year' prizes. Jess is one of our Call Centre Advisors and is up for the 'Dealer Rising Star' award.

In the past 18 months, we welcomed newcomer brands OMODA & JAECOO into the Chapelhouse family, which have hit the ground running, while our existing partnerships with MG and Suzuki keep going from strength to strength.
Jane continues: “Going back over a longer period, we continue to forge a workplace culture where our people feel better supported, respected and valued. The Board of Directors have heavily invested in initiatives to nurture both the physical and mental wellbeing of our employees. We truly believe that our people are our greatest asset.
“We now have trained, dedicated Mental Health First Aiders who are always on hand to provide confidential guidance and support to colleagues. We also work closely with the automotive charity, BEN, and the digital wellbeing platform SilverCloud. We feel it's vital that every member of our team have access to free mental health support whenever they need it.
“This people-first approach also extends to the workplace benefits and rewards we offer as an employer. From competitive starting salaries and performance-based bonuses to generous annual leave that increases with levels of service, we want everyone who works here to feel that their hard work and dedication is being recognised. This extends to a monthly Colleague Recognition Award and the active promotion from within wherever possible, helping to further careers and experience.

“We also provide a company sick pay scheme, alongside free flu jabs, eye test vouchers, and Medicash cover. These key benefits are designed to support our staff both in and out of work, helping them to thrive personally as well as professionally.
