Chapelhouse - Where or name means a great deal

Chapelhouse's Su Mawdsley named Dealer Woman of the Year!

We'd like to give a massive congratulations to Su Mawdsley, our Group Group Head of Compliance and Customer Experience, on being named the highly prestigious Dealer Woman of the Year award at the 2025 Motor Trader Women in Motor Industry Awards!

The judging panel were full of praise, saying: “Su is an excellent trailblazer, exemplifying transformational, inclusive leadership. She drives large-scale innovation and growth while removing barriers, mentoring, and fostering a diverse, resilient industry. “Congratulations - your work is raising the bar for all of us!”

Understandably, Su is incredibly honoured and proud to have won such a distinguished prize. Commenting on her amazing win, she said: “While I haven't spent my entire career in the motor industry, I have spent decades driving change, challenging the status quo, and lifting others across multiple sectors. To be recognised in this industry - among so many talented and trailblazing women - made the moment truly special.

“My sincere thanks to Motor Trader for shining a spotlight on the women shaping the future of our industry, and to my colleagues at Chapelhouse for their continued support, guidance, and belief in me. I'm also grateful to everyone who has encouraged and challenged me along the way.

“I'm excited to continue mentoring, championing, and empowering more women to lead and thrive in the motor industry.”

Su collected her prize at the inaugural awards ceremony, which was held at London's Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, and was joined by Jayne Halton, our Group Head of Business Development, and Jessica Winstanley, who was shortlisted in her own right for the Dealer Rising Star Award.

Once again, a huge well done to Su from everyone at Chapelhouse on this incredible achievement!
