Kia Wins with EcoCar Electrified and Auto Trader New Car Awards

Kia is rolling into the weekend with even more award wins for its practicality, reliability and for demonstrating innovation.

Kia starts its award celebrations with a quartet of awards at the EcoCarElectrified Top 50 Award with the Kia Sportage placing second overall and taking home awards for Best Plug-In Hybrid Medium SUV and Best Plug-In Hybrid.

The Kia Sportage is Kia's family-friendly SUV that is strikingly sporty and muscular. It takes inspiration from nature with a new design that is crisp and driver-centric.

The all-new Kia Niro also won big in the same awards, winning Best Plug-In Compact SUV and Best Hybrid Compact SUV. Judges noted the practicality of the car as well as its pricing, 7-year warranty as standard and innovative technology.

The all-new Kia Niro is the latest in Kia technology and is currently being unveiled in various locations across the country. With eco-friendly at its heart, this car boasts innovative tech such as its seamless dual displays while offering environmentally friendly trim options such as artificial leather made from Eucalyptus wood.

The Kia Sportage wasn't the only car in the Top 50 with the already award-winning Kia EV6 and Kia Niro taking 23rd and 34th overall.

The Kia Sorento also took the spotlight, being named Best 7-Seater at the Auto Trader New Car Awards.

The Kia Sorento is bold in design and makes an instant statement. It boasts excellent tech including a Head-Up Display that projects driving-related information onto the windscreen and wireless mobile phone charging.

The win comes as over 150,000 car owners voted on various lifestyle considerations including value for money and practicality.
