Suzuki Listed as Top Automotive Brand by UKCSI for Sixth Time

The Customer Service Index has once again listed Suzuki as the top automotive brand, beating out 27 other manufacturers.

Suzuki has now ranked as number 1 six times since 2019 in the bi-annual, Customer service index and is rated joint 8th overall from 260 organisations, climbing from 17th in 2022.

Suzuki Good Different at Chapelhouse

UKCSI measures sentiment across the country and asked over 10,000 people about their experience when dealing with companies across 13 sectors. 45,000 responses were received with 3,000 being from the Automotive sector.

As part of the index, customers answered questions relating to customer satisfaction including experience, customer ethos, emotional connection and ethics. Suzuki ranked 1st for emotional connection in the automotive sector with a score of 84.4, making them number 1 for customer trust.

The Net Promoter Score (NPS) element of UKCSI, which is a calculation of the ratio of respondents that would likely recommend a brand once again ranks Suzuki the highest with a score of 50.0 against an Automotive sector average of 33.0 and a lower all-sector average of 25.6.

Commenting on the results, Nobuo Suyama, Managing Director of Suzuki GB PLC, said: “We are immensely proud of our achievement to once again be in first position in the Automotive sector of UKCSI, particularly in the challenging times we continue to face. Consistent evolution of the Suzuki customer experience remains a core focus for us and the ongoing efforts of our staff and dealers has again really paid off.”

Suzuki also placed 26 places higher than the next automotive brand, another climb up the ranks since 2022. The Automotive industry sector average score was 80.1 points measured across 27 brands and with a score of 84.6, Suzuki scored significantly above this.
