Chapelhouse Wigan is proud to support Wigan Warriors Community Foundation
Chapelhouse believes in supporting the communities around us and understands that without them, we wouldn't have seen the three decades of success that we have.
We recognise that Wigan is a proud rugby town, and many of our staff have children who play in amateur teams across the North West and take advantage of the great support, clubs and opportunities that the Wigan Warriors Community Foundation provide.
To show our support, Chapelhouse will be holding a family fun day on Saturday the 15th of July at our Wigan MG and Suzuki dealerships. We will offer visitors the opportunity to take photos with members of the men's and women's Warriors squad along with the chance to win some great prizes, meet Mighty Max and take home a few free goodies too!
All money raised will go to the Wigan Warriors Community Foundation fund so that they can continue offering great summer holiday clubs and learning programmes.
Chapelhouse has enjoyed a long and successful partnership with the Warriors Men's team and has supplied cars to the Club for a number of years. We're proud to supply a car to current Warriors Half Back, Cade Cust.
Chapelhouse also provides a car for the Wigan Warriors Community Foundation. The Wigan Warriors Community Foundation is the Club's official charity, using the power of Rugby League, and sport in general, to make a difference in people's lives.
They work across many areas in Wigan, Cumbria, The Midlands and London to deliver a wide range of programmes from Rugby League coaching sessions right through to programmes that improve health, well-being and improve the career prospects of young people and adults alike.
When discussing the importance of supporting Wigan Warriors and the Community Foundation, Phil Clay, Chapelhouse Managing Director, said: “I firmly believe in the power of supporting local communities and sports clubs.
"By fostering these connections, we not only contribute to the growth and well-being of our immediate surroundings but also lay the foundation for a stronger future. When we rally behind our local communities and sports clubs, we forge partnerships that drive positive change, inspire individuals to excel, and create opportunities for personal and collective achievements.”
Chapelhouse recently took their support of Wigan Warriors one step further by proudly sponsoring Cerys Jones, Loose Forward for the Wigan Warriors Women's Team. 19-year-old Cerys broke into the first team last summer after making it through the ranks of the Women's Academy. She made her debut versus York City Knights in June and went on to make a further five appearances during the season.
We look forward to working closely with both the Men's and Women's teams and the community foundation and wish them every success for the rest of 2023 and beyond!
