Suzuki Blackpool Maintenance Class Huge Success
Saturday 11th March saw our newly opened Suzuki Blackpool branch support their local new and learning drivers with a free in-depth maintenance class in partnership with Blackpool Driving School.
As part of the class, a group of students was shown the ins and outs of looking after and maintaining a vehicle including understanding and setting tyre pressures, how to check the oil level, self-checking the tyre tread, checking the wiper blades and how to use a locking wheel nut key.
Warren Marsden, Head of Sales at Chapelhouse Suzuki Blackpool, said: "The class was a huge success and received excellent feedback. The student really enjoyed the hands-on experience."
Vehicle maintenance can be daunting, even for the most experienced of drivers so the class was set up to assist new and learning drivers in being more confident while out and about on the roads and to empower them to be safe while driving.
As part of the class, students received handy maintenance checklists for long journeys along with some great discounts and offers with Chapelhouse Suzuki Blackpool and, as an added bonus, those who drove to the class got a free valet!
Giving feedback on the first class, Blackpool Driving School said: "The session was brilliant, staff are super friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. It was a very informal session and I believe everyone who attended, learners and experienced drivers, all left with some new nuggets of information."
The class is set to run four times a year with the next one scheduled for June where Warren and his team plan to incorporate even more information including dashboard warning lights.
All classes are led by fully trained, manufacturer-approved specialists to ensure that the information that students receive is accurate and up to date.
Chapelhouse hopes that this partnership will continue to flourish and that the class will only be developed further so that students of the Blackpool and Fylde Coast area will leave Chapelhouse feeling prepared to own, drive and maintain their own cars and keep both themselves and others safe while out on the roads.
