Kia EV9 is a World Car of the Year Finalist

The Kia EV9 has been named as a 'Top Three in the World' finalist in the 2024 World Car Awards. 

The seven-seat SUV has made it through to the final round of voting, and is in the running to be named World Car of the Year at the upcoming 2024 New York International Auto Show in March.

The final three will be judged by more than 100 esteemed motor industry journalists and experts from across the globe. 

The Kia EV9, with its game-changing driving range for a large electric SUV, has also made the final running in the World Electric Vehicle category. 

The EV9 boasts an anxiety-busting range of up to 349 miles from a single charge. And thanks to its powerful 99.8kWh battery and ultra-fast charging capabilities, the EV9 can recover up to 154 miles of charge in just 15 minutes from a public charging point.

The EV9 is Kia's three-row seat electric vehicle.

Since its launch, the EV9 has already collected a number of high-profile motoring awards. It was named 'Car of the Year' by DrivingElectric and 'Family Car of the Year' by Top Gear. The EV9 has also been shortlisted for 2024 European Car of the Year and 2024 UK Car of the Year.
