MG announces two new versions of the MG4 EV

MG Motor UK has announced two brand new versions of the MG4 EV, including the most powerful MG car to date!

These stunning new takes on the all-conquering MG4 are the MG4 EV XPOWER and the MG4 EV Trophy Extended Range

These two new additions bring the number of models in the MG4 family to five - including the MG4 EV SE Standard Range (218 miles), MG4 EV SE Long Range, and the MG4 EV Trophy Long Range (both 281 miles).

MG4 EV XPOWER

The MG4 EV XPOWER will boast a combined 330kW of power - the equivalent of 442bhp - thanks to its Dual Motor technology. This means it will be able to power from 0-62mph in just 3.8 seconds!

This XPOWER version, available in Racing Green, is the UK's first truly high performance all-electric hot hatch.

It will run on unique 18-inch alloy wheels and performance tyres, with an improved braking system, to ensure the increased power and performance are kept well under control.

MG4 EV Trophy Extended Range

Meanwhile, the MG4 EV Trophy Extended Range will be capable of travelling an incredible 325 miles on a single charge. There will be no other electric car on the UK market that can provide this extensive level of electric driving range that can compete on cost.

Both new models are priced at just £36,495 and will hit Chapelhouse MG showrooms from mid-July 2023.

The 77kWh battery and 180kW electric motor in the new Trophy Extended Range reduces the 0-62mph to just 6.5 seconds and increases the top speed to 112mph.

It will retain all the interior spec and tech of the Trophy Long Range version, such as the MG Pilot - MG's collection of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. The only difference will be that the Trophy Extended Range comes with a Black Roof, to contrast the stylish Volcano Orange paint, as standard.
