Suzuki ranked top car brand for customer satisfaction again!

Suzuki has once again been ranked the no.1 car brand in the UK Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI) for July 2023.

The biannual listing, conducted by the Institute of Customer Service, measures 259 organisations across 13 sectors based upon over 10,000 customer experiences over the previous six months in the UK.

A whopping 52,000 consumer responses were received overall: 3,500 of those from the automotive sector.

Suzuki scored an impressive 82.3 score, compared to the average industry sector score of 79.4, and placed in a respectable 22nd in the overall table of organisations.

Suzuki was also the highest-ranking car brand earlier this year in January, and this is the seventh time the Japanese manufacturer has held the top spot since 2019!

Takanori Suzuki is the Managing Director of Suzuki GB PLC. He said: “We are very proud of our achievement to once again be in first position in the Automotive sector of UKCSI, which further reinforces Suzuki as the number one Automotive brand for Trust.

“Consistent evolution of the Suzuki customer experience remains a core focus for us and the ongoing efforts of our staff and dealer network has once again really paid off.”

He added: “Without the support of our nationwide dealer network, and the hundreds of people that work tirelessly for the brand to deliver exceptional standards for our customers we could not have delivered such a fantastic result.”

As part of the UKCSI, customers are asked questions relating to five dimensions of customer satisfaction, including Experience, Customer Ethos, Emotional Connection (including Trust), and Ethics.

Within the automotive sector specifically, Suzuki was rated best on Customer Ethics, Ethos and Experience.

Institute of Customer Service CEO, Jo Causon, commented: “Congratulations to Suzuki on another strong showing in the UKCSI, and for being a consistent performer in recent years.

“The automotive sector - as with much of wider society - faces high inflation, supply chain issues and price pressures. Businesses need to remain focussed on the customer experience to thrive in challenging times.”

As a demonstration of its commitment to customer satisfaction, Suzuki launched its Service Activated Warranty earlier this year.

This new package allows Suzuki drivers to extend their warranty deal for 12 months, each time their car is serviced with a Suzuki Authorised repairer, such as Chapelhouse.

The warranty stays in place until the next scheduled service, and can simply be renewed again, up to a maximum vehicle age of seven years or 100,000 miles - whichever comes first.
